Michelle was born and raised in Richmond, BC. After obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia, she articled and practiced with a small firm in historic downtown New Westminster. The experience she gained there in family law, civil litigation, real estate and estate planning/administration will serve her well as she establishes her practice on the Saanich Peninsula.
Called to the British Columbia bar in 2013, Michelle’s varied experience in all aspects of dispute resolution allow her to approach her clients’ challenges with the good humour and communication skills that are key to finding solutions for everyone. She has appeared in Provincial and Supreme Court, and has served as counsel in Employment Standard complaints, WorkSafeBC claims and residential tenancy disputes. Michelle can prepare your marriage agreement or your separation agreement, depending where you are in life, and can then advise you on estate planning in light of changing life circumstances.
Michelle lives in North Saanich with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys gardening, cooking and reading ridiculously long books, all habits that are sure to develop even further in her new home.
She is excited to raise her family in North Saanich, and is looking forward to becoming part of the Saanich Peninsula community. She is welcoming new clients to all areas of her practice.
